Our District Governor, Mr. Oğuz Cem Murat, paid a visit to the Bilimsel Hayvancılık and Milk Production Farm, which makes a significant contribution to our district’s agricultural production capacity, in order to conduct an on-site inspection. He was accompanied by the District Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. Ahmet Aydın Sarıca, and the facility owner, Mr. Rıza Bekiş.
During the program, comprehensive information was provided on the modern livestock farming practices implemented at the farm, milk production processes, and the facility’s contributions to the regional economy. In addition, topics such as animal welfare, hygiene standards, feed technologies, and efforts aimed at increasing production efficiency were evaluated, and a mutual exchange of views was held.
District Governor Murat stated that the scientific methods applied at the farm and its sustainable production approach set an important example for agriculture and livestock farming in Ereğli, emphasizing that they always support such investments that contribute to the development of local producers.
The visit concluded with a tour of the farm premises and on-site observations of the ongoing activities, followed by goodwill wishes.
